New Iron Maiden Album 2020 What Nicko McBrain Had To Say About The Whole Thing

Are Iron Maiden Finally Getting Ready To Announce Their New Album Release For 2020?

With a mischievous look in his eye, Nicko McBrain had this to say… Watch the entire interview below:

With all the endless touring, it’s hard to believe that five years have already passed since Iron Maiden released their sixteenth studio album The Book Of Souls, it kinda feels like yesterday.

Backstage Axxess recently caught up with Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain at NAMM and asked him if the band was working on a follow-up to the album The Book Of Souls. Nicko McBrain seemed to imply that perhaps, just maybe, a new Iron Maiden album for 2020 is possibly in the works — though he’s still decidedly a little mysterious about the whole thing.

5minutes, 10seconds is when Nicko is asked about New Iron Maiden Album 2020

BackstageAxxess interviews Nicko McBrain

“Watch this space: IronMaiden.com. That’s all I’ve gotta say.” When host David “Gus” Griesinger implied that Nicko McBrain’s comments meant that fans should look for “something soon,” the drummer was quick in correcting him, Nicko adding, “No, I didn’t say something soon, and I didn’t say ‘possibly.’ Watch this space, is what I said. Don’t be putting words in their mouths.” – Nicko McBrain speaking to Backstage Axxess at NAMM trade show in Anaheim, CA on January 18, 2020 about the possibility of a new album.

So: maybe there IS a new Iron Maiden album being worked on right now, and maybe there ISN’T. What is for certain is that fans should continue watching IronMaiden.com like a damn hawk for any updates.
