Chris LaRocque – AKA “The Slayer Swimmer”, is the dude made famous for being booted from a Slayer show only to try and swim his happy ass back in!
In 2018 The Slayer Swimmer, Chris LaRocque was just trying to “get his mosh on” at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Ontario, Canada when his metal loving heart was broken by security.
Yep, they tossed him right the fuck out!… Can you believe that shit?
Now we guess the good folks at Anheuser-Busch, the makers of Budweiser “The King of Beers” have decided to return the favor for the overwhelming free publicity sent their way by LaRocque last May. See, they have immortalized his head-bangin’ ass on a commemorative can of Bud!
The new Budweiser can commemorates the venue’s 25th anniversary, with a design honoring twenty five acts that have performed at the venue since it opened in 1995 at the Molson Amphitheater.
Look close and you can see Chris LaRocque, wearing his Anthrax shirt, complete with water droplets emblazoned on the beer can.
There’s a need amongst diehard Slayer fans to make the most of these shows, Chris and the rest just wanted to headbang harder than the gigs before. The worst part? LaRocque was kicked out during opening act Testament, thus causing him to miss not only Slayer, but also his beloved Anthrax.
Sad! Sorry Bud! We’ll have a Bud in your honor! Aye!
The Slayer Swimmer posted to Facebook:
“So, I guess I made it on a beer can lable. I wonder if I can get free beer? It reminds me of the Archie and Jughead style.”
