Bruce Dickinson: “The Hooker Story”

Watch below and let Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden tell you the almost, too funny to be (Absolutely True Story) about touring in Hamburg Germany, a hooker, and a man named Dizzy!

This gloriously funny footage where Bruce Dickinson recalls the time he demanded a German prostitute refund his money for a “botched handjob” was taken from the 2009 documentary Monty Python: Almost The Truth (Lawyer’s Cut).

Bruce gracefully “dances” around the occasion when Iron Maiden was on a tour stop in the early 80s in Hamburg, Germany during which one of the members of Maiden’s road crew suggested that they pay a visit to the Eros Center (that at one time was rumored to be the largest collection of brothels in Europe).

We’ll leave the rest of the storytelling to Mr. Dickinson…

WATCH & ENJOY!

If you’re wondering why Dickinson was included in the documentary? For years Maiden has played the Python sing-along “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” at the end of their shows over the PA systems. Dickinson has often admitted to being a huge Monty Python fan and in a video for the bands 1988 “Can I Play With Madness” none other than Graham Chapman plays a cranky mad-hatter type art professor. Sadly it would be one of the last times Chapman would appear on screen before his untimely death in 1989.
